Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna visited Kalyan Singh Cancer Institute

The Institute is simultaneously in the process of recruitment of more faculty members, technicians, nurses and other staff along with equipment procurement so that more patients care services can be added in the Institute.

Suresh Khanna , Cabinet Minister for Finance , Medical Education and Parliamentary Affairs who had earlier inspected Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute (KSSSCI) on 2nd November 2021 again visited the hospital on 1 December 2021.

Director,  KSSSCI Prof RK Dhiman and CMS , Prof Anupam Verma along with other officials of the Cancer Institute were present during the rounds of the hospital. Director briefed the minister about the progress of civil and electrical works in the main Operation Theatre complex (G+5) wherein the first floor of OT is being taken over with 8 OT, 12 preoperative and 16 postoperative beds. Rest of the floors of OT building will be handed over by 31st December 2021.

Work is in progress in another building for wards (G+9) and concerned agency has assured the hand over date of 31st May 2022 similarly for administrative building work will be finished by 31st January 2022. 

IPD (G+5) building is ready for take over which can admit 220 patients in the wards. Work is in progress in another building for wards (G+9) and concerned agency has assured the hand over date of 31st May 2022 similarly for administrative building work will be finished by 31st January 2022.
