भारत दर्शन मेरी दृष्टि में – ऊं पर्वत, नावीडांग (उत्तराखंड)

उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊँ मंडल के सुदूर क्षेत्र, भारत-नेपाल सीमा के निकट स्थित नावीडांग से लगभग दस किलोमीटर दूर, कालीनदी (काली नदी) के उद्गम स्थल के आगे, एक पर्वत की आकृति में ‘ॐ’ का दिव्य चिन्ह सामान्य मौसम में स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई देता है.

In the remote Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, near the India-Nepal border and about 10 kilometers beyond the source of the Kali River, the sacred ‘Om’ symbol appears naturally formed on a mountain at Navidang — visible clearly during fair weather.

कई बार मौसम प्रतिकूल होने के कारण, कई दिनों के लंबे इंतजार के बावजूद यह दिव्य दृश्य नहीं दिखता.

At times, due to unfavorable weather, even after days of waiting, this divine spectacle remains hidden.

यह स्थान उत्तराखंड के काठगोदाम से लगभग 450 किलोमीटर दूर है, जो टनकपुर, पिथौरागढ़, धारचूला, तवाघाट और गुंजी होते हुए पहुँचा जा सकता है.

The site is around 450 kilometers from Kathgodam, accessible via Tanakpur, Pithoragarh, Dharchula, Tawaghat, and Gunji.

गुंजी गाँव तक आदि कैलाश और ऊं पर्वत के लिए एक ही मार्ग है.

There is a common route up to Gunji for both Adi Kailash and Om Parvat.

वर्ष 2020 तक केवल तवाघाट तक ही सड़क मार्ग था, उसके आगे मानसरोवर की ओर जाने वाला मार्ग पैदल ही तय किया जाता था.

Until 2020, the motorable road extended only up to Tawaghat. Beyond that, the route towards Mansarovar had to be covered on foot.

अब भारतीय सीमा तक सड़क निर्माण कार्य प्रगति पर है, लेकिन यह मार्ग अभी भी जोखिमपूर्ण है.

Now, road construction has progressed up to the Indian border, but the path remains hazardous.

वर्षा या बर्फ़बारी होने पर सड़क अक्सर अवरुद्ध हो जाती है, और चट्टानों के गिरने का खतरा भी बना रहता है.

During rain or snowfall, the road often gets blocked, and there is also the risk of falling rocks.

फिर भी यह मार्ग पहाड़, जंगल और बादलों के अद्भुत संगम के कारण अत्यंत मनोरम और रोमांचकारी लगता है.

Yet, the route feels enchanting and adventurous due to the stunning confluence of mountains, forests, and clouds.

नावीडांग से ऊं पर्वत का दर्शन अत्यंत दुर्लभ और चमत्कारी अनुभव है.

Witnessing Om Parvat from Navidang is a rare and miraculous experience.

भारत-नेपाल सीमा पर कालापानी के सामने गणेश पर्वत स्थित है, जहाँ पहाड़ पर एकदंत गणेश जी की आकृति उभरी हुई स्पष्ट दिखाई देती है.

Opposite Kalapani on the India-Nepal border lies Ganesh Parvat, where a natural formation on the mountain resembles Lord Ganesha with a single tusk.

पास ही एक गुफा भी है जिसे स्थानीय लोग महर्षि वेदव्यास की गुफा मानते हैं.

Nearby, there is a cave believed by locals to be the hermitage of Sage Ved Vyas.

यह संपूर्ण दृश्य अत्यंत विचित्र, अद्भुत, विशाल और भावविभोर करने वाला है.

The entire scene is strikingly unique, magnificent, and emotionally overwhelming.

यह क्षेत्र वीरान, दुर्गम और अत्यंत ठंडा है, फिर भी भारतीय सेना, सशस्त्र सीमा बल और आईटीबीपी के जवान यहाँ साल भर डटे रहते हैं.

Despite being desolate, remote, and extremely cold, personnel from the Indian Army, SSB, and ITBP remain stationed here throughout the year.
